Her background is in media relations, social marketing, advertising, and brand management. She specializes in coordinating innovative outreach programs, design and implementation of public awareness/education and social marketing campaigns, public relations management, organization supervision, media market analysis, and planning.
Cyn has worked as a publicist for various high-profile celebrities such as Spike Lee and Martin Scorsese and has worked with ABC, BET, OWN, Jeopardy, NBC, PBS, Radio One, TIME, MSNBC, and Univision. Her clients include the A-List Speaker Series, NIH, CDC, FEMA, DAV, EPA, National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse, and NHTSA.
While at Burson-Masteller and Burrell Communications Group, she coordinated national campaigns and media buys for Hewlett-Packard, Federal Express, Shell, McDonald's, and Disney. She is the former Director of Media for the Chicago Condors of the American Basketball League and was an Illinois Public Information Officer Rep assisting then-state senator Barack Obama. She recently won first place in the 2017 and 2016 Blue Pencil & Gold Screen Award for Social Media and received second place in the 2016 Blue Pencil & Gold Screen Award for Promotional Campaigns under 100,000. She is a member of PRSA, Jack and Jill of America, and the Links, Inc. She is married to Jackson Davis IV, an executive at ESPN, and is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston.
